I have to say, aside from Lotta Jansdotter, there is one designer that always pops out to me at the fabric shop: Anna Maria Horner, which I mostly recognize for her beautiful, ornate florals with their rich sumptuous colors and a Mexican flare, also has this lovely voile, “Pastry Line”. I used this fabric in a pale grey-blue for the lining of my blazer (correction, I have yet to use it as my blazer and lining still lie separate from each other)… but have been coveting this color since it reached the shelf. This is for the second dress I will be making over the course of the next two weeks, and while it is not for me, I’m excited to be working with it. I think the owner-to-be will look smashing in it.
